On Sunday 10:30AM, click the above button to go to our YouTube channel. Find our live service video and follow the order of service below to join in from home in a fun and interactive way.

10:30 AM – Worship

Our meetings typically start with an hour of worship music to bless God’s heart, as He overflows into ours. For Banner of Love, LIVE we encourage you to keep this same routine. Worship for an hour along with your family. Sing and make music to the Lord together in your home. It is so important to maintain praise and thanksgiving to God in these times.

“Rejoice always,  pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

In this time we’d also encourage you to take communion. Use whatever bread or crackers, juice or wine you have at home. Take this time to reflect and talk about what the Lord did on the cross for you, the hope and relationship we have in his resurrection, ascension, and soon return. Confess any sin or unforgiveness issues to one another. Pray for one another, forgiving each other, and know that God is in your midst.

“For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread,  and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”  In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”  For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Tithe is a part of worship, and is a vital part of church and community life.

You can continue to give online, here, through our registered charity’s PayPal account. Or contact your pastors for other means of bringing your tithes.

“Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.  Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem.” 1 Corinthians 16:1-3

If you don’t have access to online banking, we encourage you to set aside your tithe each week to be brought into the local church for the next time we can physically meet.A

11:30 AM – Teaching

After worship, we’ll continue our routine with an hour of solid, in-depth Bible teaching. Below you’ll find this week’s video to be watched live at home with your family. Have your Bible’s ready and follow along with the scriptures. Get your kids involved! Teach them how to find the passages, or maybe they can show off the skills they’ve learned in Sunday School and teach you the books of the Bible. The idea is that each of us in our separate homes are all watching and participating in the same teaching at the same time across the miles. This helps us keep the bond of unity and peace in the Spirit.

Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. 1 Timothy 4:13

The public reading of scripture, preaching, and teaching is vital to our faith. Until we can meet together again, we cannot forsake this. We challenge you all to be in the word of God in your daily lives, but each one needs a teacher and a shepherd to guide them in the faith.

We’d ask that at the close of our video teaching for this week, you take time to pray through the points of the teaching. If you have family and children living with you get everyone involved. Ask each other what you can pray for. Talk about what God is doing in your lives. Maybe some of you, or your children are struggling with fear or uncertainty. Maybe you need physical healing. This is a time to bring these things to God together in in prayer. Ask in faith and expectancy, knowing He cares for us, and will hear and answer our prayers.

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” Luke 18:1

Finally, we need fellowship with each other. This doesn’t have to stop during a time of physical distance. We’d ask that at the conclusion of all this, you’d take time to ring other people from your local church congregation. See whom the Holy Spirit puts on your heart. Ring them. Texting doesn’t count. It’s good to hear each other’s voices. Even better, if you have WhatsApp or FaceTime – do a video chat for even more fun and encouragement.

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10

Remember: Be encouraging. Ask what they are thankful for this week. Tell them testimonies of how God met your needs this week. Have a no complaining, no worrying policy with each other. Pray for one another. Ask if they have any needs or requests, and see how we can care for one another.

Each week, pick 2 new people to contact. This will encourage us and keep fellowship going despite the distance. It will also help us forge new relationships in the body of Christ.

In Conclusion:

In summing up each week, let us remember:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42

This was the model of the early church, and no matter if we are meeting in our building, our homes, or online, let us not forsake these things.

“The Lord bless you, and keep you;

The Lord make His face shine on you,
And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance on you,
And give you peace.’ Numbers 6:24-26

God Bless You All! — Kyle & Rachel
